Ze hadden hem geschreven op mijn verjaardag. En aangezien ik altijd met eten bezig ben, was het een receptkaart. Eentje voor souvlakia. Griekse gegrilde spiezen. met varkens- of lamsvlees. Gemarineerd of niet. Veel kruiden of weinig.\u00a0Anything goes. Het is zaterdag en ik wil het makkelijk houden. Een receptje voor op de scharas, grill dus. En voor deze keer drink ik er een maatje ijskoude retsina, de Griekse harswijn bij.<\/p>\n<p>Nodig 4 personen<\/p>\n<p>4 pitabroodjes groot<br \/>\n500 g mager varkensvlees<br \/>\n2 rode uien<br \/>\ngehakte peterselie<br \/>\n1 citroen<br \/>\n2 grote tomaten<br \/>\npeper en zout<\/p>\n<p>Bereiding:<\/p>\n<p>Snijd het vlees in stukjes en rijg ze aan 4 spiezen. Zet buiten de grill aan. Bestrijk het vlees met olie. Bestrooi met peper, zout en voor de liefhebber wat komijnpoeder. Rooster de spiezen om en om. Verwarm de pita broodjes en snij ze door. Snijd de tomaat in dunne plakken. De citroen in vieren. Serveer de souvlakia op het broodje bestrooid met rode uienringen en peterselie.
