Deze Betuwse jongen maakt vandaag een uitstapje. Ik moest weer aan applemania denken toen ik vorige week een pakketje nieuwe oogst ontving van<a href=\"http:\/\/www.marlene.it\/en\/about-marlene\/south-tyrol-sudtirol\/\">\u00a0Marlene \u00ae<\/a>, een appelmerk uit S\u00fcd Tirol. Ik mocht al eens van deze appels snoepen tijdens de #culiperslunch in april, waar Ghislaine Melman een appelrisotto en leuke desserts maakte met de appels uit deze Noord Italiaanse regio. Van royal gala, via golden tot fuji appels. Alles groeit er in de boomgaarden aan de voet van de Alpen, 300 dagen zon en je begrijpt waarom dit de grootste fruitstreek van Europa is. Marlene \u00ae is een co\u00f6peratie van fruittelers met als oogmerk de beste kwaliteit bieden. #applemania. Eet deze appels uit het vuistje of maak er wat mee, van een gezond appelbrood tot risotto.<\/p>\n<p>De #culipost deed het bloed weer harder stromen. Ik heb het voor de kleur iets aangepast door rode uien en roodschil appels te gebruiken. Blus af met wat bouillon en een scheut frizzante. Breng aan de kook en voeg al roerende de wijn en bouillon toe, totdat de risotto mooi al dente is. Voeg halverwege de kooktijd de appelstukjes toe. voeg op het einde een ferme klont boter toe en wat peper en zout. Doe het deksel op de pan en laat de risotto even staan.
