Het was een brunchgerecht. Ham met koffie en bruine suiker. Ik maakte het in de nineties regelmatig klaar. Helaas raakte ik het recept kwijt en stond \u00a0Gereons Keuken Thuis voor de uitdaging om opnieuw het wiel uit te vinden. \u00a0Reproduceren hoe het ook alweer ging. Blogger <a href=\"http:\/\/foodiemoods.nl\/\">Miss Foodie<\/a>\u00a0rapporteerde uit de Big Apple dat zij mooie flesjes coffeeglaze had ontdekt voor dit gerecht. Zij stuurde mij een foto op van het goedje.<\/p>\n<p>Dat kan ik zelf ook dacht ik en ging aan de slag. Met bruine suiker en een kop sterke espresso. Het resultaat is een dikke koffiestroop, waarmee je de ham kunt glaceren. Easy en het is een verrassende toevoeging aan je ham. <strong>Brunch galore!<\/strong> \u00a0Ham met koffie en bruine suiker, geserveerd met gebakken aardappels, als stevige start van de zondag.<\/p>\n<p>Nodig:<\/p>\n<p>4 dikke plakken ham<\/p>\n<p>75 g bruine suiker<\/p>\n<p>3 el ciderazijn<\/p>\n<p>1 el Dijon \u00a0mosterd<\/p>\n<p>1 kop sterke espresso<\/p>\n<p>2 el wijnsiroop<\/p>\n<p>klontje boter<\/p>\n<p>Bereiding:<\/p>\n<p>Zet de oven op 180 graden. Meng de suiker, azijn, espresso door elkaar en verwarm in een steelpan tot de suiker is opgelost. Roer de mosterd en wijnsiroop erdoor. Leg de plakken ham in een ovenschaal en bestrijk deze met het mengsel. Bak de ham ongeveer 15\/20 minuten in de oven. Keer halverwege om en bestrijk de ham opnieuw met het mengsel.
